KASAR DEVI ALMORA, UTTARAKHAND

Situated just eight km away from Almora, Kasar Devi is a small village known for its temple named after the goddess. The temple hosts the annual Kesar Devi fair on every Kartik Poornima. The outskirts of this village were also a significant destination during the hippie movement of the 1960s. It continues to attract tourists, both domestic and foreign.
